Diet and nutrition are closely interlinked to each other however their meanings are entirely different. Generally, we see that the word ‘diet’ is used for weight reduction plans or fat elimination meal programs. However, the true literal sense of the word is not likely though. “Diet is a sum of a food that a person consumes a day”, however, people consider nutrition something only prescribed by nutritionists. On contrary, nutrition means maintaining a healthy balanced diet.
