The World Countries
It's usually thought of as a region or territory bounded by political geography and natural borders like oceans, rivers, and mountains. A country can either be self-governing or governed by another. The British Empire, for example, ruled over colonies such as America in its early history and, more recently, numerous African countries.
Countries, for example, have parliamentary republics (Botswana), religious-based republics (Afghanistan), constitutional monarchies (UK), communist governments (China), parliamentary democracies (Spain), and so on. They also have their own cultures, which can be made up of a single group or a number of them, as well as languages, cuisines, religion, social systems, environments, economies, and, of course, history.
What's fascinating about countries is their diversity.
