The producer of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, revealed (in the 2013 documentaries The Image Revolution and the new AMC Secret History Of Comics by Robert Kirkman) that he had to tell a pretty big lie in order to get Image Comics to print the comic way back in 2003. This show is both praised and loathed for its nonstop twists and character cast that is constantly changing.It's crazy to believe that The Walking Dead, the interactive franchise behemoth, began with a very unknown comic writer lying to his editor, and it's fascinating to think what might have happened if Kirkman hadn't been able to do everything possible to get his comic off the ground.Think you're a true show fan?
