A default browser is a web browser used to direct a web link or page when you click on one in another program. When we have more than one browser installed on your desktop or mobile, every time you click on a link, it will ask you which browser you want to choose to view the link or page. So rather than being asked continuously you can pick a browser permanently or change if you don’t like the one you have selected.
Here are five simple steps on how to change the default browser in android.
1. Open ‘Settings’ on your device.
2. Tap on ‘Apps.’
3. Click on the three dots on the right top corner, that’s where you will find the ‘Default Apps.’
4. Tap on the ‘Default App’ to view all the apps set default setting.
5. Then click on ‘Browser App’ to select the browser of your choice as default.
